The FCCN - FCT Digital Services, promotes the development of the National Advanced Computing Network (RNCA), coordinating national advanced computing resources, fostering cooperation between the various centers involved and developing national and international partnerships with other entities. In this context, Calls is regularly promoted to provide technological support for advanced computing projects in all scientific domains.
In addition to the national Calls, there is the European initiative EuroHPC JU that promotes regular Calls to access its supercomputers, allowing the development of larger computational projects. The goal of the EuroHPC JU is to contribute to placing the European Union at the forefront of high performance computing technologies, supporting the development of exascale supercomputers.
