Welcome to the new FCT website

FCT has a new website with a new structure and content layout. The official launch was made this week, ending the transition period that started in May this year, when a beta version was available online.

The FCT website is the institution's main channel of communication with the scientific community and the general public, being consulted by approximately half a million users per year. This portal seeks to meet the needs of all its users, being a tool of utmost importance for FCT to pursue its mission.

In the construction of this new site we sought to implement a more understandable information architecture, allowing for greater fluidity in navigation, so that users can easily and quickly find the relevant content of their interest. A more current and appealing graphic proposal was developed, respecting the FCT corporate identity, which this year also received a new logo.

As for the old FCT website, it was discontinued on 20 December 2022 but will continue to be temporarily accessible through the following alternative address: https://former.fct.pt/. Later it will be preserved by the FCT's Arquivo.pt, where all its history will be stored.
