Human capital as a source of competitive advantage

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and COTEC Portugal are promoting the seminar "Human Capital as a source of competitive advantage" on March 18, at 9:00 a.m., with direct transmission via COTEC Portugal and FCT's LinkedIn platform.

At this session, the new features of the 2024 edition of the FCT's Call Annual PhD Studentships will be announced, with applications due between March 18 and April 18, and which increases the number of Studentships in a non-academic environment from 400 to 450 (compared to Call in 2023). The new D100-E100COTEC Portugal's new D100-E100 platform will also be presented. Its mission is to expand the base of companies with their own technological development by valuing human capital, knowledge and increasing collaboration between the business community and the scientific system.

During the round table, the experience of the CTT and CELOPLÁS companies in managing "human capital" as an intangible asset that is decisive in generating innovation, competitive advantages and corporate value will be presented.
