MIT Portugal Annual Conference 2023

The annual MIT Portugal conference will be held on September 22 at the Altice Forum Braga, under the motto "Research that impacts society." The event will focus on the results of the seven Flagship Projects of the MIT Portugal Program and their contribution to the scientific progress of the Portuguese Research & Development system in strategic areas of the program: Oceans-Space, Climate Change, Sustainable Cities, and Digital Transformation in Manufacturing.

The conference will provide an opportunity to learn about the MIT Portugal Program community and hear from Portuguese and MIT representatives on how to tackle humanity's complex challenges and develop innovative technology projects with the potential to address global issues such as climate change.

“The MIT Portugal Program is an international partnership funded by FCT, which aims to develop collaborative research between MIT and Portuguese universities, research institutes, laboratories, and companies, promoting innovative, high-impact ideas and research projects with the potential to address complex challenges with global and social impact.”

The event is free, but prior registration is required.
