Cooperation between Portugal and Luxembourg

The Foundation for Science and Technology and the Fonds National de la Recherche Luxembourg - FNR established in 2017 a collaboration protocol aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and scientific cooperation between the two countries by funding joint research projects.

The scientific areas defined as priorities were the following:

• materials science;
• innovation in services (including ICT and space);
• sustainable resource management;
• health and biomedical sciences;
• societal challenges
• other areas of mutual interest to be defined.
