Cooperation between Portugal and Luxembourg

In 2017, the Foundation for Science and Technology and the Fonds National de la Recherche Luxembourg (FNR) established a collaboration protocol with a view to strengthening bilateral relations and scientific cooperation between the two countries through the funding of joint research projects.

The scientific areas defined as priorities were as follows:

• materials science;
• innovation in services (including ICT and space);
• sustainable resource management;
• health and biomedical sciences;
• societal challenges
• other areas of mutual interest to be defined.
