Reporting channels
The FCT has two reporting channels:
The Whistleblowing Channel under the GDPR is intended to receive complaints regarding the commission of infractions in any of the areas provided for in article 2 of Law no. 93/2021 of December 20, by any body, service or agent of FCT, I.P.
Complaints concerning infractions that, although they fall within the areas provided for in the aforementioned legislation, concern entities, bodies, services or agents other than FCT, I.P., must be filed with the authorities that, in accordance with their powers and competences, should or may be aware of the matter in question in the complaint, namely the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Criminal Police bodies and the Inspectorates-General, as provided for in article 12 of Law no. 93/2021 of December 20.
The Harassment Reporting Channel arises from the FCT's commitment to preventing, prohibiting and combating any practice or conduct that violates human dignity. Harassment is a discriminatory practice par excellence, violating human dignity and preventing a healthy and inclusive working environment.
This Channel is a specific mechanism for combating all harassment and should be seen as an effective tool for the prevention, detection and treatment of such practices, encouraging the promotion of an inclusive environment through the participation of civil society.
