Infect-ERA

FCT is a partner in the Infect-ERA network, an ERA-NET on human pathogenic microorganisms, built on the successes and experiences gained in the previousPathoGenoMics(PGM) project between 2004 and 2011. However, the new network aims to broaden its scope to include viruses and protozoa as objects of study, rather than just bacteria and fungi as was the case in PGM. The new ERA-NET in this area is essential to continue the work already begun, without gaps in funding and in order to obtain scientific results and intellectual property, for which a period of three years is often not sufficient.
