Launch of the 1st Call the European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare to fund transnational projects

FCT participates in the European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare, a European partnership co-funded under the Horizon Europe Framework Program, which launched its first Call for funding transnational Research and Innovation projects on May 8, 2024.

This Call aims to fund transnational research and innovation projects under the theme "Supporting the Future of Animal Health and Welfare", focusing on livestock, aquatic animals, bee health or, additionally, wildlife, and applications must address one of the following research topics: (1) New technologies for the prevention, detection, assessment and management of animal health and welfare; (2) Fundamental Research for Animal Health and Welfare; (3) Animal and Society Health and Welfare.

Pre-proposals can be submitted until 14:00 (Lisbon time) on July 8, 2024.

As part of this Call, a webinar was organized by the Call 's international secretariat with information for potential candidates, a recording of which will be made available on the application submission page.
