1st Call for Joint Research Call between Portugal and Macao

The FCT and the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) of the Macao Special Administrative Region are launching the 1st Call for funding for joint Scientific Research and Technological Development projects. Applications are open until July 26 (5:00 p.m. Lisbon time).

The Call to support projects in Marine Sciences, in the areas of Marine Pollution and Marine Biotechnology, with a budget allocation of €300,000. Funding will be granted up to a maximum of €100,000 per project, for a maximum period of 36 months.

The Call within the scope of a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2017 between FCT and FDCT, with the aim of encouraging cooperation between research and development institutions in Macao and Portugal.
