4. Research Data Management Forum – GDI Forum

The Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco will host the 4th edition of the Research Data Management Forum – GDI Forum, on November 16th.

The initiative seeks to share ideas, emerging initiatives, projects and good practices to support research data management, bringing together managers of digital repositories and data centers, information technicians, libraries, archives and data curation, information technology specialists, researchers, data scientists and science managers from research institutions, science funding agencies and all those interested in the topic. The objective is to energize and mobilize the community of professionals and researchers working in this area, encouraging the development of skills and the capitalization of knowledge and experiences.

Among the various moments that make up the program, the space dedicated to “Flash Talks” stands out, with proposal submissions ongoing until September 10th. Here participants can present actions, good practices and projects associated with supporting research data management.

The 4th GDI Forum is organized by the Secretariat of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education , FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology through its FCCN unit and University of Minho, promoted within the scope of the National Open Science Policy and the activities of RCAAP - Open Access Scientific Repository of Portugal .

– Proposal submission period: June 11th to September 10th
– Notification of proponents of proposals: 17 September
– Participant registration: July 2nd to November 12th
