4th Research Data Management Forum – GDI Forum

The Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco will host the 4th edition of the Research Data Management Forum – GDI Forum, on November 16.

The initiative seeks to share ideas, emerging initiatives, projects, and best practices in support of research data management, bringing together digital repository and data center managers, information technicians, libraries, archives, and data curators, IT specialists, researchers, data scientists, and science managers from research institutions, science funding agencies, and anyone else interested in the topic. The goal is to energize and mobilize the community of professionals and researchers working in this area, encouraging the development of skills and the capitalization of knowledge and experience.

Among the various events that make up the program, one highlight is the space dedicated to "Flash Talks," for which proposals are being accepted until September 10. Here, participants can share actions, best practices, and projects related to research data management support.

The 4th GDI Forum is organized bythe Secretary of State for Science, Technology, and Higher Education, FCT-Foundation for Science and Technology through its FCCN unit, and the University of Minho, promoted within the scope of the National Open Science Policy and the activities of RCAAP – Portugal's Open Access Scientific Repository.
