6th edition of the Research Data Management Forum
On June 30 and July 1, another Research Data Management Forum (GDI Forum) will be held. This sixth edition will take place in a different format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, this forum will be exclusively online, with videoconference sessions.
The GDI Forum has been held since 2016, with the aim of bringing together and energizing the community of professionals and researchers involved in research data management support, with a view to developing technical skills and sharing best practices in the sector.
This year's event will aim to obtain and share a comprehensive overview of the state of maturity in research data management in the National Roadmap's infrastructures, provide information on the different data management structures, and learn about the national strategy for research data management, among other points.
The organization of this Forum is the result of the development of scientific information and data projects and infrastructures within the scope of the National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN) of the FCT, the RCAAP project, and various research and higher education institutions, and in the context of the development of the National Open Science Policy.
Registration for the GDI Forum is open until June 25, and the final program will be available on May 26. All information can be found on the event website.
