6th edition of the Research Data Management Forum
On June 30th and July 1st, another Research Data Management Forum (GDI Forum) will take place. This sixth edition will take place in a different format, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this forum will be exclusively online, with video conference sessions.
The GDI Forum has been held since 2016, with the purpose of bringing together and dynamizing the community of professionals and researchers supporting research data management, with the aim of developing technical skills and sharing the best practices in the sector.
This year's event will aim to obtain and share a comprehensive view of the state of maturity in research data management in the National Roadmap infrastructures, provide information on the different data management structures, learn about the national strategy for the area of research data management, among other points.
The organization of this Forum is the result of the development of scientific information and data projects and infrastructures, within the scope of the National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN) of the FCT, the RCAAP project and several research and higher education institutions and in the context of the construction of the National Open Science Policy.
