6th edition of the Research Data Management Forum
Another Research Data Management Forum (RDM Forum) will be held on June 30 and July 1. This sixth edition will take place in a different format, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, this forum will be exclusively online, with videoconference sessions.
The GDI Forum has been held since 2016 to bring together and energize the community of professionals and researchers supporting research data management, with the aim of developing technical skills and sharing best practices in the sector.
This year's event will aim to obtain and share a comprehensive view of the state of maturity in research data management in the National Roadmap infrastructures, provide information on the different data management structures, learn about the national strategy for the area of research data management, among other points.
The organization of this Forum is the result of the development of projects and infrastructures for scientific information and data, within the scope of the FCT's National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN), the RCAAP project and various research and higher education institutions, and in the context of the construction of the National Open Science Policy.
Registration for the GDI Forum is open until June 25 and the final program will be available on May 26. All the information can be found on the event's website.
