6th edition of the Research Data Management Forum

On June 30 and July 1 another Research Data Management Forum (GDI Forum) will be held. This sixth edition will take place in different ways, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, this forum will be exclusively online, with videoconference sessions.

The GDI Forum has been held since 2016, with the purpose of bringing together and energizing the community of professionals and researchers supporting research data management, in order to develop technical skills and share best practices in the industry.

This year's event will aim to obtain and share a comprehensive overview of the state of maturity in research data management in the National Roadmap infrastructures, provide information about the different data management structures, learn about the national strategy for the area of research data management, among other points.

The organization of this Forum is the result of the development of projects and infrastructures of scientific information and data, in the scope of the FCT's National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN), the RCAAP project and several research and higher education institutions and in the context of the construction of the National Open Science Policy.

Registration for the GDI Forum is open until June 25 and the final program will be available on May 26. All information on the event's website.
