Presentation and Discussion of Proposals Submitted for the CoLAB Title

Following the information sessions on Collaborative Laboratories that FCT has facilitated over the last few months and as announced at the sessions held on October 23 and 24 in Lisbon, FCT confirms that the International Monitoring and Evaluation Panel for Collaborative Laboratories will begin its work on November 14 and 15, 2017, in Lisbon. At this first meeting, the evaluation of applications submitted by November 8, 2017, will begin. 

The proponents of the applications submitted by that date will be invited to participate in a Public Session for the Presentation and Discussion of their proposals with the International Monitoring and Evaluation Panel, to be held on November 15, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., at the Portuguese Communications Foundation. At this session, each proposal may be presented for approximately 10 minutes by a representative of the applicants, followed by a period of discussion with the members of the Panel. Prior registration is required to attend this session.

The FCT also informs that the International Monitoring and Evaluation Panel for Collaborative Laboratories will meet at least twice a year, preferably in April and October, to evaluate new applications. The application submission process is open on an ongoing basis. 

The FCT also informs that a new information session on Collaborative Laboratories will be organized in due course by the end of March 2018.
