Presentation and Discussion of Proposals Submitted for the CoLAB Title

FCT will organize the fourth session for the presentation and discussion of 11 proposals accepted for Call the CoLAB title, submitted by September 7, 2020. This session will take place at the Foundation for Science and Technology on October 19, starting at 8:45 a.m., and will be broadcast online.

Each bidder will have 20 minutes to present their proposal. After each presentation, there will be 15 minutes of questions and answers with the evaluation panel.

The Call applications for the CoLAB title is open on a permanent basis. Collaborative Laboratories may be established as private non-profit associations or companies whose main objective is to directly and indirectly create skilled and scientific employment in Portugal through the implementation of research and innovation agendas geared towards creating economic and social value. CoLABs must respond to the challenge of densifying the national territory in terms of knowledge-based activities through the growing consolidation of forms of collaboration between science, technology, and higher education institutions and the economic and social fabric, namely companies, the hospital and health system, cultural institutions, and social organizations.
