Protocol signed between FCT and IGFEJ

The FCT and the Institute of Financial Management and Justice Equipment (IGFEJ) signed a cooperation protocol this Wednesday, May 17. The partnership will allow the FCCN unit to expand its network to one of the country's leading commercial data centers. In return, it will support the interconnection of two IGFEJ data centers and their interconnection to the Public Administration Traffic Exchange Point, at the Public Administration Shared Services Entity (ESPAP).

This partnership will allow the sharing of resources between FCT and IGFEJ, namely in their areas of communication and systems. At the signing ceremony, which took place at the FCT, the president of the Foundation's Board of Directors, Paulo Ferrão, recalled that this protocol “is a good case of public cooperation”. In turn, Nuno Fonseca, Director of the IGFEJ Support Services Department, welcomed the signing of the protocol, stating that “there are many areas of mutual interest” to both institutions.

The IGFEJ's mission is to manage the financial resources of the Ministry of Justice, the management of assets related to the area of justice, infrastructure and technological resources, as well as the proposal for the design, execution and evaluation of computerization plans and projects, in conjunction with other services and bodies of the Ministry.
