Call for 25 Fulbright Research Fellowships with the support of FCT

The Call for applications for Fulbright ResearchStudentships with FCT support is open until January 31st. These Studentships are aimed at PhD students directly funded by the FCT who have planned, as part of their training plan, to carry out a period of research at a US university or research center. The Call provides for the award of up to 25 Studentships lasting between 4 and 9 months.

The Call is being held under a partnership between FCT and the Fulbright Commission - Commission for Educational Exchange between the USA and Portugal, which has been in force since 2014, and which was renewed in 2016 by a new protocol aimed at continuing the collaboration between the two institutions and strengthening the joint plan for awarding Studentships. This agreement also provides for the award of Studentships for professors and researchers with a PhD under the Fulbright Program, the Call which will open in the last quarter of 2019.
