Call for research projects: Step-by-step guide to Balcão 2020 and the electronic form

FCT, COMPETE, and the Regional Operational Programshave published a Support Guide for Access to the 2020 Counter and for submitting applications to Call IC&DT Projects in all Scientific Fields 2017. The guide is a step-by-step guide that supports the entire application process, from the first access to the final submission of the project. FCT, COMPETE, and the Regional Operational Programs are also preparing a series of information sessions, to be announced shortly, and FAQs to support the Call.

In recent days, the Application Form, available at Balcão 2020 but which can be viewed here, the Scientific Areas and Evaluation Panels, and supporting documents for joint applications with researchers from the State of São Paulo and the State of Ceará (both in Brazil) have been published. These are in addition to the documentation that had already been previously released: Notice for Submission of Applications, Merit Reference, Balcão 2020 – electronic form/clarification of doubts, Specific Regulations for Competitiveness and Internationalization (RECI), Regulations for Projects Funded Exclusively by National Funds. The Guide to Completing the Form will be released in the coming days.

The FCT and the Operational Programs are available to answer any further questions. All questions should be submitted through Balcão 2020, which will forward questions regarding the notice and regulations to the FCT. These questions will be answered by FCT technicians, also through Balcão 2020. Submitting questions through Balcão creates a history associated with the application, allowing researchers to receive answers tailored to their specific questions.
