Applications open for Technology Internships at CERN, ESA, ESO and EMBL

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) has opened Calls for 20 Studentships at four international scientific organizations: the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). Interested parties can submit applications until November 30, 2019, in the case of CERN internships, and until December 16, 2019, for internships at ESA, ESO and EMBL.

The internships are aimed at candidates with a bachelor's or master's degree - obtained less than 6 years ago - and a doctorate - obtained less than 3 years ago - in scientific areas relevant to the organizations' activities. These training opportunities have a maximum duration of two years and are carried out under the agreements signed by FCT with CERN, ESA, ESO and EMBL.
