Call Projects in all Scientific Fields

Today, FCT published the Call for Applications Call all Scientific Fields. The period for submitting applications to Call from January 28 to March 10, 2021.

This Call a budget of €75 million and will support two types of projects:

– Scientific research and technological development (IC&DT) projects, lasting 36 months and with maximum funding per project of €250,000, with an allocation of €60 million;

– Exploratory research projects (PeX), lasting 18 months and with maximum funding per project of €50,000, with a total budget of €15 million.

The introduction of these two types of projects is one of this year's new features in Call Projects in all Scientific Fields, a change that is in line with suggestions from the scientific community. Held annually, the Call Projects in All Scientific Fields is part of the FCT's major Calls , whose schedule, another of the FCT's commitments to the scientific community, is set until 2022 and published on the website.

On the opening day for applications, January 28, the application form and a guide to completing the form will be available on the Call page. Applications must be submitted via the FCT R&D Calls Portal and in English.
