Call Portugal for 40 Advanced Studentships

The application period is now open Call 40 PhD Studentships under the MIT Portugal Program. Applications may be submitted until 5:00 p.m. (Lisbon time) on July 2, 2021.

The 2021/2022 PhD Studentships will be awarded for the strategic areas of the MIT Portugal Program, namely: Climate Science and Climate Change; Earth Systems – from Oceans to Space; Digital Transformation in Manufacturing; Sustainable Cities; and Data Science, applied to the above areas.

Part of the goPORTUGAL – Global Science and Technology Partnership Portugal initiative, the MIT Portugal Program aims to develop collaborative research between MIT and Portuguese universities, research institutes, laboratories, and companies, promoting innovative, high-impact ideas and research projects with the potential to address complex challenges with global and social impact.

These Studentships funded by FCT, under the collaboration agreement in force with the MIT Portugal Program.
