Call MIT Portugal for 40 Studentships Advanced Training

The application period for the Call for the allocation of 40 Studentships research for a doctorate within the scope of the MIT Portugal Program. Registrations can be made until 5 pm (Lisbon time) on July 2, 2021.

To the Studentships The 2021/2022 PhD research grants will be awarded to the strategic areas of the MIT Portugal Program, namely: Climate Sciences and Climate Change; Earth Systems – from Oceans to Space; Digital Transformation in Manufacturing; Sustainable Cities; and Data Science, applied to the previous areas.

Part of the goPORTUGAL initiative – Global Science and Technology Partnership Portugal , the MIT Portugal Program aims to develop collaborative research between MIT and Portuguese universities, research institutes, laboratories and companies, leveraging innovative high-impact ideas and research projects with the potential to address complex challenges of global and social impact.

These Studentships will be financed by FCT, within the scope of the collaboration protocol in force with the MIT Portugal Program.
