The Call for applications for 40 PhD research Studentships under the MIT Portugal Program is open until April 11. The 2022/2023 PhD research Studentships will be awarded for the strategic areas of the MIT Portugal Program, namely: climate science and climate change; earth systems - from oceans to space; digital transformation in manufacturing; sustainable cities; and data science, applied to the above areas.
As part of the goPORTUGAL - Global Science and Technology Partnership Portugal initiative, the MIT Portugal Program aims to develop collaborative research between MIT and Portuguese universities, research institutes, laboratories and companies, boosting high-impact innovative ideas and research projects with the potential to tackle complex challenges with a global and social impact.
These Studentships will be funded by the FCT, under the collaboration protocol with the MIT Portugal Program.
