Call Portugal for 40 PhD Studentships

The application period for Call 40 PhD Studentships under the MIT Portugal Program is open until April 11. The 2022/2023 PhD Studentships will be awarded in the strategic areas of the MIT Portugal Program, namely: climate science and climate change; terrestrial systems – from oceans to space; digital transformation in manufacturing; sustainable cities; and data science, applied to the above areas.

Part of the goPORTUGAL – Global Science and Technology Partnership Portugal initiative, which focuses on partnerships between Portugal and the US, the MIT Portugal Program aims to develop collaborative research between MIT and Portuguese universities, research institutes, laboratories, and companies, promoting innovative, high-impact ideas and research projects with the potential to tackle complex challenges with global and social impact.

These Studentships funded by FCT, under the collaboration agreement in force with the MIT Portugal Program.
