ERA-MIN3 Joint Call 2021

Applications are now open for Call ERA-MIN3 Joint Call 2021, in the field of mineral raw materials in a circular economy approach, until 5:00 p.m. on April 1, 2021. Applications can be submitted via the electronic submission platform. In this Call.

The FCT is participating with a financial commitment of €500,000 to support Portuguese institutions in international consortia. The Call evaluated in two phases, with the best-rated pre-proposals being invited to the second phase.

FCT is the coordinator of the recent ERA-NET Cofund on raw materials, ERA-MIN3. It began on December 1, 2020, and is expected to last for five years. ERA-MIN3 aims to give the research and innovation community the opportunity to apply for globally coordinated funding, thereby supporting needs-driven research on primary resources, secondary resources, and the substitution of critical raw materials, using a circular economy approach, as well as cross-cutting themes such as raising public awareness of this issue.
