Connecting the Atlantic marine research and innovation community

The All-Atlantic2021 "Atlantic Cooperation in Research and Innovation for a Sustainable Ocean: High-Level Ministerial and Stakeholder Conference" launched a survey to identify and characterize stakeholders interested in promoting marine Research and Innovation (R&I) across the Atlantic, thus strengthening the Atlantic Marine Research and Innovation community.

This survey aims to help strengthen R&I cooperation in the Atlantic Ocean, from "Pole to Pole". This survey will identify stakeholders who can contribute to and participate in the All-Atlantic2021 Conference, as well as in the Pledging activities and the side events and initiatives associated with the event.

The information collected in this survey will also feed into a database accessible through the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance Portal. This list will comprise stakeholders from various sectors, from government institutions, science centers, industry and civil society, whose work, skills and experience could be relevant to fostering transatlantic cooperation in the scientific areas and in the respective strategic objectives of the conference.

The All-Atlantic2021 Conference will be held under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in close cooperation with the European Commission, from June 3 to 4, 2021, in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, and aims to support the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliancestrengthening cooperation in R&I in the Atlantic Ocean.
