FCT and ALBA will hold a joint scientific meeting to strengthen collaboration

FCT and the Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (ALBA) are organizing an online meeting on December 17, between 2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., aiming to strengthen scientific collaboration between Portuguese and Spanish scientific communities, in order to develop collaborations in four strategic areas: life sciences, catalysis, batteries and electronic materials, and nanomaterials, as part of the joint postdoctoral program to be launched in 2021.

This meeting is organized within the framework of the Collaboration Agreement to promote scientific collaboration between the two countries, signed between FCT and ALBA in February 2019. This collaboration includes the funding of four postdoctoral positions that will be based at ALBA premises and involved in collaboration projects between Portuguese research centers or universities and ALBA scientific sections.

Participation in this meeting is open to the entire scientific community and to all interested parties. The program is already available and participation is free of charge, prior registration being required.
