FCT and ALBA organize scientific meeting to strengthen collaboration

FCT and the Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (ALBA) are organizing an online meeting on 17 December, between 2pm and 5.30pm, with the aim of bringing the Portuguese and Spanish scientific communities closer together, so as to enable the development of collaborations in 4 strategic areas: biosciences, catalysis, batteries and materials for energy and nanomaterials, within the scope of the joint post-doctoral program to be launched in 2021.

This meeting takes place within the framework of the Collaboration Agreement to promote scientific collaboration between the two countries, signed between FCT and ALBA in February 2019. This collaboration aims to fund 4 Portuguese postdoctoral researchers in ALBA's infrastructure, who will be involved in collaborative projects between Portuguese research centers or universities and ALBA's scientific areas.

Participation in this meeting is open to the entire scientific community and anyone interested. The program is already available and participation is free of charge, prior registration is required.
