FCT and Alba selected projects for scientific collaboration

The project selection process under the FCT-ALBA collaboration agreement has now been completed. Summaries of the selected projects, as well as their teams and scientific areas, can be found here. A Call applications will soon be launched for four postdoctoral positions for Portuguese researchers to work on the selected research projects.

It should be noted that the agreement between FCT and ALBA aims to promote scientific collaboration between the two countries, in the spirit of improving scientific and technical exchange, developing joint projects, and facilitating access to scientific instrumentation in institutions considered by both scientific communities. This agreement has created the conditions for collaboration and various possible lines of activity, including the creation of a joint postdoctoral program to be developed within the ALBA infrastructure.
