FCT has started the contracting process for the 2nd edition of CEEC Individual

FCT has begun the process of hiring the 300 researchers who were selected for funding in the 2nd edition of the CEEC Individual Call . The program contracts were sent to the contracting institutions on May 14, allowing them to proceed with signing the employment contracts with the researchers.

FCT's Board of Directors has decided to start the process of signing employment contracts with the selected researchers, even before the process of analyzing the comments submitted at the prior hearing has been completed. In this way, the researchers will be able to start their contracts and work plans at the host institutions, without having to wait for the results after the prior hearing.

These new 300 contracts are in addition to the 515 contracts awarded in the first edition of the CEEC Individual under the Stimulus to Scientific Employment initiative, presented by the FCT in 2017.
