FCT has begun the hiring process for the 2nd edition of CEEC Individual

The FCT has begun the process of hiring the 300 researchers who were selected for funding in the 2nd edition of Call Individual Call . The program contracts were sent on May 14 to the contracting institutions, allowing them to proceed with signing employment contracts with the researchers.

The FCT Governing Board has decided to initiate the process of signing employment contracts with the selected researchers, even before the analysis of the comments submitted at the preliminary hearing has been completed. This will allow researchers to start their contracts and work plans at their host institutions without having to wait for the results of the preliminary hearing.

These 300 new contracts are in addition to the 515 contracts awarded in the first edition of CEEC Individual as part of the Scientific Employment Stimulus initiative, presented by FCT in 2017.
