FCT at Qualifica from February 28 to March 3

FCT will be present at Qualifica - the Education, Training, Youth and Employment Fair - which takes place from February 28 to March 3 at EXPONOR (Porto). The FCT's participation will be integrated into the stand of the Human Capital Operational Program(PO CH), the entity that co-finances its doctoral Studentships .

This is FCT's fourth appearance at Qualifica. The Foundation is running two stands: one, institutional, aims to publicize the possibilities of funded support; in the other, the FCT is counting on the support of the scientific community to publicize the science and technology produced in the country and to make visitors aware of advanced training in these areas.

The second panel will be made up of R&D units that host doctoral fellows funded by the FCT using funds allocated by the PO CH. The PhD students will present their projects and work, and answer the question "what is a PhD" in their field. Seven units accepted FCT's invitation to take part in the Fair, where they will be represented by around 30 researchers.
