FCT at Qualifica from February 28 to March 3

FCT will be present at Qualifica – Education, Training, Youth, and Employment Fair – which will take place from February 28 to March 3 at EXPONOR (Porto). FCT's participation will be integrated into the stand of the Human Capital Operational Program (PO CH), the entity that co-finances its Studentships .

This is the fourth time that FCT has participated in Qualifica. The Foundation runs two stands: one is institutional, aimed at raising awareness of the funding opportunities available; the other relies on the support of the scientific community to raise awareness of the science and technology produced in the country and to encourage visitors to pursue advanced training in these areas.

This second panel represents R&D units that host doctoral fellows funded by FCT using funds allocated by PO CH. Doctoral students will present their projects and work, and answer the question "what is a PhD" in their field. Seven units accepted the invitation from FCT to participate in the Fair, where they will be represented by around 30 researchers.
