The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) will hold two information sessions dedicated to Calls Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND 2026 and MSCA Staff Exchanges 2026 Calls , which are open until April 8 and 16, respectively. The sessions will take place exclusively online, both with an expected duration of one hour, and prior registration is mandatory:

MSCA COFUND aims to co-finance a doctoral program or a postdoctoral program. Although there is no minimum mandatory co-financing rate for the beneficiary institution, in practice, successful applications propose at least around 30% co-financing from other sources.

MSCA Staff Exchanges are a Horizon Europe instrument for funding the mobility of researchers, technicians, and science managers directly involved in research at any stage of their career. Consortia applying for funding must include at least three institutions from three different countries. Like other MSCA actions, they aim to train and develop researchers' careers through three dimensions of mobility: between countries, between the academic and non-academic sectors, and between disciplines.

The FCT is responsible for promoting Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in Portugal, regularly holding information sessions and proposal writing workshops. It is also responsible for representing Portugal on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Program Configuration Committee, within the European Union.
