FCT participates in Futurália (FIL) from March 29th to April 1st

FCT participates in Futurália, the education and training, employment and youth fair, from March 29 to April 1. The fair takes place at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL), in Parque das Nações, under the theme “Industry 4.0 – Learning, Working and Competing”. This is the second time that FCT has participated in the event, at the invitation of the Human Capital Operational Program (PO CH).

The Foundation will be represented at two counters, one institutional and the other with guests from the scientific community. The guests are four national researchers who began their research careers as FCT scholarship holders supported in part by European funds and have won, in recent years, Studentships from the European Research Council (ERC). The participation of these researchers will be aimed at presenting the research projects they are developing, together with their work teams.

The FCT's presence will be integrated into the Human Capital Space promoted by PO CH, under the motto “Build your Path”, as happened at the Qualifica training fair, which took place in Porto (Exponor) from March 16 to 19. The objective of this PO CH initiative is to contribute to the promotion and dissemination of the different support and intervention measures of the program. This space will bring together other partners from the areas of education, training and employment supported under Portugal 2020, such as ANESPO, ANQEP, Centro 2020, DGE, DGES, DGESTE, IEFP, Norte 2020 and the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal. In 2016, Qualifica received around 80 thousand visitors, the majority of whom were young people.
