FCT participates in Futurália (FIL) from March 29th to April 1st

FCT is taking part in Futurália, the education and training, employment and youth fair, from March 29 to April 1. The fair is being held at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL), in Parque das Nações, under the theme "Industry 4.0 - Learning, Working and Competing". This is the second time that the FCT has taken part in the event, at the invitation of the Human Capital Operational Program (PO CH).
The Foundation will be represented at two counters, one institutional and the other with guests from the scientific community. The guests are four Portuguese researchers who began their research careers as FCT fellows, partly supported by European funds, and have won European Research Council (ERC) Studentships in recent years. The purpose of these researchers' participation will be to present the research projects they are developing, together with their work teams.
The researchers invited by the FCT are:

ERC Consolidator Grant winner (2016)
Project: MAPLE - Analysis and measurement of the politicization of Europe before and after the eurozone crisis
Institution: Institute of Social Sciences, University of Lisbon
Luís Oliveira e Silva (March 30)

The FCT's presence will be part of the Human Capital Space promoted by the CH OP, under the slogan "Build Your Way", as was the case at the Qualifica training fair, which took place in Porto (Exponor) from March 16 to 19. The aim of this PO CH initiative is to help promote and disseminate the program's various support and intervention measures. This space will bring together other partners in the areas of education, training and employment supported under Portugal 2020, such as ANESPO, ANQEP, Centro 2020, DGE, DGES, DGESTE, IEFP, Norte 2020 and the European Commission Representation in Portugal. In 2016, Qualifica welcomed around 80,000 visitors, most of them young people.
