FCT participates in Qualifica 2018

FCT, in close collaboration with the scientific community, takes part in another edition of Qualifica – Education, Training, Employment, and Youth Fair, which takes place from March 1 to 4 at Exponor in Matosinhos.

This year, the fair is dedicated to the theme "Love the planet." As in previous years, FCT participates in the booth promoted by POCH, co-financier of several grants awarded by the Foundation.

Participation in this initiative is an opportunity to showcase the science and technology produced in the country and to raise awareness among visitors of the importance of advanced training in these areas. Therefore, FCT invited R&D Units to participate with their PhD students, who will present their projects firsthand and share their views on science and on the role of scientists and researchers in society.

These are the institutions that will take part in Qualifica, with their PhD students:

Lab2PT – Laboratory of Landscapes, Heritage, and Territory, University of Minho

Dom Luiz Institute, University of Lisbon

CEiiA – Center for Engineering and Product Development

ITQB – António Xavier Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology, New University of Lisbon
