FCT published the Notice of the Call CEEC Institutional - Associate Laboratories

FCT has published the Notice of the Call the Call for the Stimulus to Institutional Scientific Employment for Associate Laboratories (CEECInst-LA), for which applications will run from May 25 until 17:00 Lisbon time on July 21, 2022. This Call provides for the hiring of 120 more PhD researchers under the Scientific Employment Regulation (REC).

This edition will fund fixed-term contracts for the levels of Junior and Assistant Researcher, concluded under Decree-Law no. 57/2016, of August 29, and contracts for the scientific research career, concluded without a term or for an indefinite period, in all categories. The contracts will result from recruitment and selection procedures opened by the beneficiary institutions.

CEECInst-LA aims to fund the hiring of doctoral graduates by Associate Laboratories (ALs), through financial support for scientific employment and career development plans, as part of the strategy to strengthen the critical mass needed to pursue specific national science and technology policy objectives, and bearing in mind the scientific challenges set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The aim is also to strengthen institutional network cooperation in order to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the productive and social fabric, as well as strengthening the conditions for innovation. This call for tenders takes place under the Scientific Employment Regulation, as part of the institutional Calls to support scientific employment.
