FCT published the announcement for Call 2022 PhD Studentships Call

The FCT published today the Notice of the Call Call of Studentships Doctorates 2022. The Call open between March 8 and April 7, 2022, until 5:00 p.m. Lisbon time, and applications must be submitted electronically on the myFCT portal.

Students already enrolled in a study program leading to a doctoral degree or candidates who meet the necessary conditions to enroll and who wish to carry out research activities leading to the award of such a degree in all areas of knowledge may apply for this FCT Call PhD Studentships .

In this Call , in addition to applications in all scientific areas and with research work to be carried out in scientific and academic institutions, a specific application line is open for Studentships whose work plans are carried out wholly or partly in non-academic entities. These are, in particular, work plans carried out in companies, Collaborative Laboratories, Technology and Innovation Centers, Technology Interface Centers, Public Administration entities, or third sector entities. It should be noted that, within the scope of this specific line, research activities may be carried out in collaboration with academic entities, promoting institutional cooperation.

In this Call , 1,450 new Studentships Call awarded, adding to the more than 6,700 Studentships currently underway that are directly funded by FCT.
