The 2nd Meeting of the 2030 R&I Agenda for Portuguese Architecture will be held in Lisbon on December 5, at the D. Pedro IV Auditorium (Av. D. Carlos I, 124 J), at 5 pm. This session will continue the Cycle of Meetings promoted by the group of experts developing this Agenda, in an initiative supported by the FCT and which already included a first session at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, which took place on November 8th.

The guests at this session in Lisbon are: Manuel Aires Mateus (Architect), José Manuel dos Santos (Administrator and Cultural Director of the EDP Foundation) and Raquel Henriques da Silva (Historian, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of UNL).

Researchers and promoters of innovation in this thematic area are invited to attend the event, which is free to attend.

The R&I Agenda for Portuguese Architecture proposes to encourage knowledge and dissemination of the work built in Portugal and around the world by Portuguese architects, facilitating new R&D activities. Emphasis will be placed on new interdisciplinary R&D activities in close conjunction with the architectural, cultural, social and economic valorization of Portuguese architecture in the world, as well as new urban revitalization processes. In this context, the agenda is based on four dimensions: i) Design, ii) Construction, iii) Heritage; iv) City-landscape.
