II Meeting – R&I Agenda 2030 for Portuguese Architecture
The Second Meeting of the 2030 R&I Agenda for Portuguese Architecture will take place in Lisbon on December 5, at the D. Pedro IV Auditorium (Av. D. Carlos I, 124 J), at 5 p.m. This session will continue the series of meetings promoted by the group of experts who are developing this Agenda, in an initiative supported by the FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia), which already held its first session at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto on November 8.
The guests for this session in Lisbon are: Manuel Aires Mateus (Architect), José Manuel dos Santos (Administrator and Cultural Director of the EDP Foundation), and Raquel Henriques da Silva (Historian, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at UNL).
We invite researchers and promoters of innovation in this field to attend and would appreciate it if you could spread the word about this event, which is free to attend.
The R&D Agenda for Portuguese Architecture aims to promote awareness and dissemination of the work built in Portugal and around the world by Portuguese architects, facilitating new R&D activities. Emphasis will be placed on new interdisciplinary R&D activities closely linked to the architectural, cultural, social, and economic enhancement of Portuguese architecture around the world, as well as new urban revitalization processes. In this context, the agenda is based on four dimensions: i) Design, ii) Construction, iii) Heritage; iv) City-landscape.
