New FCT website now available in Beta Version

On the first day of Ciência 2022 - Meeting with Science and Technology in Portugal (May 16), which this year is dedicated to FCT's 25th anniversary, the President of FCT, Helena Pereira, unveiled FCT's new website. In her words, the new FCT website is "something that has been long awaited by the scientific community".

Still in a beta version and in a phase of content migration from the old website, the new website shows a complete process of renovation and access to content, which can be followed by the national scientific community, which can contribute suggestions, promoting a productive dialog with those who will be the main users of the website.

It is intended that the new website will contribute to greater accessibility and interaction between the institution and citizens, the scientific community, companies and other similar entities, public bodies and programs related to science and technology. The new design provides a more intuitive and clearer information architecture, suited to the communication needs of FCT and its users and compatible with the mobile devices used on a daily basis, ensuring a good user experience.

Another new feature of the new site is that it already uses the new FCT logo. The logo will soon be available in its various formats to be adopted by the various entities and people funded by FCT in the media advertising their funding.
