New FCT website now available in Beta version

On the first day of Science 2022 – Meeting with Science and Technology in Portugal (May 16), which this year is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of FCT, FCT President Helena Pereira unveiled the new FCT website. In her words, the new FCT website is “something that has long been awaited by the scientific community.”

Still in betaand in the process of migrating content from the old website, the new website shows a complete renewal and access to content, which can be followed by the national scientific community, who can contribute with suggestions, promoting a productive dialogue with those who will be the main users of the website.

The new website is intended to contribute to greater accessibility and interaction between the institution and citizens, the scientific community, companies and other similar entities, public entities, and programs related to science and technology. The new design promotes a more intuitive and clear information architecture, tailored to the communication needs of FCT and its users and compatible with everyday mobile devices, ensuring a good user experience.

Another new feature of the website is that it now uses the new FCT logo. The logo will soon be available in various formats for use by the various entities and individuals funded by FCT in their funding publicity materials.
