Deadlines for applications for the big annual Calls

FCT would like to inform you that the deadlines for submitting applications for the major annual Calls will be met, in accordance with the announcements made at the time of publication of the respective Calls.

The Calls and dates in reference are:

• Call for IC&DT projects in all scientific fields: until March 10, 2021;
• Call CEEC Individual - 4th edition: until February 26, 2021;
• Institutional CEEC Call - 2nd edition: until April 16, 2021;
• Call for Doctoral Studentships 2021 - until March 31, 2021.

Although the FCT has received some requests to extend the deadlines for Calls, it believes that compliance with the annual planning of major Calls, defined for the 2020-2022 triennium, is essential to guarantee normal conditions in the fulfillment of scientific policy and to ensure that the science funding system maintains the regularity and predictability that the scientific community itself has been asking for.
