Application deadlines for major Calls

The FCT informs that the deadlines for submitting applications for Calls major Calls will be met, in accordance with the announcements made in a timely manner at the time of publication of the respective Calls.

The Calls dates in question are:

• Call IC&DT Projects in all scientific fields: until March 10, 2021;
• Call Individual – 4th edition: until February 26, 2021;
• Call Institutional – 2nd edition: until April 16, 2021;
• Call Studentships 2021 – until March 31, 2021.

Although FCT has received some requests to extend the deadlines for Calls, it believes that compliance with the annual planning of major Calls, defined for the 2020-2022 triennium, is essential to ensure normal conditions for compliance with scientific policy and to guarantee that the science funding system maintains the regularity and predictability that the scientific community itself has been requesting.
