Draft Regulation on FCT Studentships

The public consultation on the FCT Studentships Regulation Project is now open for a period of 30 working days, in accordance with Article 7 of the Research Scholarship Statute and Article 4 of Decree-Law No. 123/2019 of August 28. Within the scope of public participation, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 100 of the CPA, interested parties should submit their suggestions to the FCT via consultapublica.rbi@fct.pt.

The recent Decree-Law No. 123/2019, of August 28, updated several provisions of the Research Scholarship Statute (EBI), making it necessary, pursuant to Article 4 of the EBI, to update the FCT Studentships Regulations, which govern the selection, hiring, and legal regime applicable to all research fellows funded directly or indirectly by the FCT, and which had not been updated for more than four years. The changes introduced are intended to make the procedure more flexible and simplify its administrative processing.
