Save the date > Scientific Computing Days 2019

The Jornadas de Computação Científica is a conference already recognized as the main annual meeting point for all those involved in providing advanced infrastructures and services for the higher education and research community.

Over the course of three days, learn more about the areas in which FCT's Scientific Computing Unit operates: CONNECTIVITY, COMPUTING, COLLABORATION, KNOWLEDGE and SECURITY. Participate, collaborate and influence our activities by attending presentations, plenary sessions, working meetings and workshops. 

Infrastructures (e.g. RCTS or Eduroam) and advanced services (e.g. b-on) are now fundamental to higher education and research activities. For this reason, we call for the participation not only of those involved in making them available, namely those responsible for IT and library/documentation/archive services, but also decision-makers, namely institutional leaders with these responsibilities, as well as those responsible for implementing science and those in charge of research units.

The 2019 edition will be held in the Azores, at the Ponta Delgada Campus of the University of the Azores, from May 6 to 8, 2019. Sign up now!
