Seminar dedicated to CERN during Science and Technology Week 2019

Science and Technology Week takes place from November 24 to 30, with numerous scientific institutions, universities, schools, and museums opening their doors to anyone who wants to learn more and meet experts from different fields of knowledge, and even carry out scientific observations and experiments.

The S&T Week program includes a seminar entitled "CERN opportunities – Industry, Knowledge Transfer, Advanced Training," which will take place at the Thalia Theater in Lisbon on November 25 (Monday). The seminar will be attended by the Director-General of CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), Fabiola Gianotti; the Minister of Science, Technology, and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor; the President of FCT, Helena Pereira; and the President of the Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics (LIP), Mário Pimenta. The event will take place between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., with free admission upon prior registration.
