Seminar dedicated to CERN at Science and Technology Week 2019
Science and Technology Week takes place from November 24 to 30, with numerous scientific institutions, universities, schools and museums opening their doors to let in those who want to know more and have contact with experts from different fields of knowledge, and even carry out scientific observations and experiments.
The S&T Week program includes a seminar entitled "CERN opportunities - Industry, Knowledge Transfer, Advanced Training", which will take place at the Thalia Theatre in Lisbon on November 25 (Monday). The seminar will be attended by the Director General of CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), Fabiola Gianotti; the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor; the President of FCT, Helena Pereira; and the President of the Laboratory for Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics (LIP), Mário Pimenta. The event takes place between 2pm and 5pm, and admission is free upon prior registration.
