Studentship for Research Information Session

The Fulbright Commission Portugal will organize an information session for those interested in the Studentship for Research program with support from FCT. This session will be onlineon January 28, Thursday, at 3:00 p.m. (Lisbon time).

This Studentships Research Studentships program is intended for doctoral fellows directly funded by FCT who have planned, as part of their training plan, to conduct a period of research at a US university or research center, and covers all areas of study. To apply, applicants must have a good knowledge of English, proof of agreement with the project by the host institution in the United States of America, and proof of agreement with their doctoral supervisor.

The Studentship a fixed duration of 4 to 9 months. Selected candidates receive support from both the FCT and the Fulbright Commission, which provides them with supplementary health and accident insurance during the Studentship period, issuance of the necessary documents for the J-1 visa, among other benefits.
