Fulbright Studentship for Research Information Session

The Fulbright Commission Portugal is organizing an information session for those interested in the FulbrightStudentship for Research program with FCT support. This session will take place online on January 28th, Thursday, at 15:00 (Lisbon time).

This Fulbright Studentships for Research program is aimed at PhD Studentships directly funded by the FCT who have planned, as part of their training plan, to carry out a period of research at a US university or research center, and covers all areas of study. Good English language skills, proof of agreement with the project by the host institution in the United States, and proof of agreement with the doctoral supervisor are essential to apply.

The Studentship lasts from 4 to 9 months. Successful candidates receive support from the FCT and the Fulbright Commission, which provides them with supplementary health and accident insurance for the duration of the Studentship, as well as issuing the necessary documents for the J-1 visa, among other benefits.
