Public Debate Sessions on the S&T System, Higher Education and Scientific Employment

The FCT, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (MCTES), is organizing a series of debates on the S&T system, higher education and scientific employment. These sessions are open to all researchers from public and private institutions and to all teachers and researchers in higher education.

The meetings will be attended by the Minister for Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, the Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education, Fernanda Rollo, and members of the FCT Board of Directors. The topics under discussion will be addressed in the context of preparing the institutional evaluation processes that will be launched in 2017 by the FCT and the Higher Education Assessment and Accreditation Agency (A3ES).

The programme of the meetings will focus on the public debate of the following documents:
On the evolution of the organization of the S&T and higher education system: building the future, believing in knowledge
Stimulus to scientific employment - Plan for realization and implementation
