The Portuguese Participation in H2020 and Prospects for FP9

Next Monday, February 20, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the National Innovation Agency (ANI) will hold an event to take stock of Portugal's participation in Horizon 2020 and discuss the national position for the next European framework program for Research and Innovation funding – FP9.

The event will be attended by the Minister of Science, Technology, and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, the European Commissioner for Research, Science, and Innovation, Carlos Moedas, and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Science, Alexandre Quintanilha. During the session, the performance of national entities in Horizon 2020 will be presented, as well as examples of good practices within the scope of this Framework Program.

The event will take place on February 20, at 4:30 p.m., in the Grand Amphitheater of the IST Congress Center.
