CMU Portugal Visiting Faculty & Researchers and Visiting Students Programs

The CMU Portugal Program has opened the application period for the 2023 edition of the Visiting Faculty & Researchers and Visiting Students Programs, which aim to provide a period of immersion at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh. The deadline for applications is June 2.

The CMU Portugal Visiting Faculty & Researchers Program is aimed at individuals who hold a doctoral degree at the time of application and are affiliated with a Portuguese Higher Education Institution or Research Laboratory. Its objective is to provide a period of immersion lasting from two weeks to two months at Carnegie Mellon University, where participants can engage in research, education, and innovation with colleagues at Carnegie Mellon University. In turn, the Visiting Students Program provides a 1- to 3-month immersion period at Carnegie Mellon University for master's students or master's degree holders who have obtained their degree in the last 5 years in Portugal in areas related to ICT. While at Carnegie Mellon University, candidates will be mentored by professors and researchers from the American university and will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture of Carnegie Mellon.
