CMU Portugal Visiting Faculty & Researchers and Visiting Students Programs

The CMU Portugal Program is open until June 2 for applications for the 2023 edition of the Visiting Faculty & Researchers and Visiting Students Programs, which aim to provide a period of immersion at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh.

The CMU Portugal Visiting Faculty & Researchers Program is aimed at PhD degree holders at the time of application and affiliated with a Portuguese Higher Education Institution or Research Laboratory, and aims to provide an immersion period of 2 weeks to 2 months at Carnegie Mellon University, where they can develop research, education and innovation work with colleagues from Carnegie Mellon University. For its part, the Visiting Students Program offers an immersion period of 1 to 3 months at Carnegie Mellon University for master's students or master's students who have obtained their degree in the last 5 years in Portugal and in areas related to ICT. While at Carnegie Mellon University, candidates will be mentored by professors and researchers from the American university and will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Carnegie Mellon's culture.
