CMU Portugal's Visiting Faculty & Researchers and Visiting Students Programs

The CMU Portugal Programme has open, until 2 June, the application period for the 2023 edition of the Visiting Faculty & Researchers and Visiting Students Programmes that intend to provide an immersion period at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), in Pittsburgh.

The CMU Portugal Visiting Faculty & Researchers Programme is aimed at PhD holders at the time of application and affiliated with a Portuguese Higher Education Institution or Research Laboratory, and has the objective to provide an immersion period of 2 weeks to 2 months at Carnegie Mellon University, where they can develop research, education and innovation work with colleagues from Carnegie Mellon University. Meanwhile, The Visiting Students Programme provides an immersion period of 1 to 3 months at Carnegie Mellon University for Master's or Master's students who have obtained their degree in the the last 5 years in Portugal and in areas related to ICT. While at Carnegie Mellon University, candidates will be mentored by professors and researchers from the American university and will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Carnegie Mellon culture.
