Hera Network announces funding opportunity
The HERA network – Humanities in the European Research Area – announces a funding opportunity to appoint a Knowledge Exchange Facilitator (KEF). The Studentship ranges from £400,000 to £500,000 and includes the KEF's salary, support staff, travel expenses, living allowances, and event coordination costs.
KEF will lead efforts to strengthen collaboration and knowledge exchange within the HERA & CHANSE joint research program "Crisis," in which FCT participates.
Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent), demonstrate familiarity with the European knowledge exchange landscape, and be affiliated with an established research organization. Candidates with previous experience in transnational research projects, ideally around the theme of crises, together with a comprehensive understanding of European knowledge exchange practices, are sought.
The fixed duration of the project is three and a half years, with a planned start date of January 6, 2025. The deadline for submitting applications is July 9, 2024 (4:00 p.m., Lisbon and UK time).
