News - Hera Network announces funding opportunity

The HERA network - Humanities in the European Research Area, announces a funding opportunity to appoint a Knowledge Exchange Facilitator (KEF). The Studentship offered ranges from 400,000 to 500,000 pounds and includes the KEF's salary, support staff, travel expenses, subsistence allowances and event coordination costs.

The KEF will lead efforts to strengthen collaboration and the exchange of knowledge within the framework of HERA & CHANSE's 'Crisis' joint research program, in which FCT participates.

Candidates should hold a PhD (or equivalent), demonstrate familiarity with the European knowledge exchange landscape and be associated with an established research organization. Candidates with previous experience in transnational research projects, ideally around the theme of crises, together with a comprehensive understanding of European knowledge exchange practices are sought.

The fixed duration of the project is three and a half years, and it is expected to start on January 6, 2025. The deadline for submitting applications is July 9, 2024 (16:00 Lisbon and UK time).
