11th Research Data Management Forum

The 11th Research Data Management Forum (GDI) will take place on November 21 and 22 at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, and registration is now open until November 15.

The event is organized by FCT, through FCCN – FCT Digital Services, and theUniversity of Minho, and is promoted within the scope ofRCAAP – Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal activities. The 11th GDI Forum is part of investment RE-C05-i08 – More Digital Science, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

This event will feature technicalworkshops,flash talksessions for demonstrations and presentations of projects and best practices, a Data Café, and panel discussions on emerging topics, among other new features.

The annual GDI Forum event aims to bring together and energize the community of professionals and researchers involved in activities supporting research data management, with a view to developing technical skills, capitalizing on knowledge and practices, and promoting awareness of national initiatives. The Forum seeks to bring together managers of digital repositories anddata centers, information technicians, libraries, archives, and data curators, IT specialists, researchers, data scientists, and science managers from research institutions and science funding agencies.

All interested parties may submit proposals for presentations (flash talksand posters) until September 11. More information is available onthe submissions page of the event website.
