13th Research Data Management Forum
The next edition of the Research Data Management Forum (GDI) will take place on November 19 and 20, 2026, at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). The annual meeting will once again bring together the national community dedicated to the practices, policies, and challenges of research data management, a strategic area for the scientific ecosystem.
This event serves as a vital platform for sharing knowledge, presenting experiences, and discussing emerging trends, and fosters dialogue among data curators, information specialists, researchers, and science managers. Now in its 13th edition, the GDI Forum aims to strengthen the community’s collaborative and capacity-building efforts, contributing to the development of robust and sustainable research data management practices in Portuguese scientific institutions.
The GDI Forum is co-organized by the POLEN team—the digital service of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), developed by FCCN—and the University of Minho, in collaboration with the University of Beira Interior, which is hosting this edition.
