The 17th Lusophone Open Science Conference is dedicated to Artificial Intelligence

CONFOA

The 17th Lusophone Open Science Conference (ConfOA2026) will take place October 6–9 at the University of the Algarve, with this year’s theme being “Open Science in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”

The program includes a series of workshops that will address practical and/or theoretical aspects related to the conference topics. Registration for these workshops is now open, and they offer an opportunity to deepen your knowledge, exchange experiences, and acquire practical tools in areas relevant to Open Science. Check out the available workshops and secure your spot.

The conference once again brings together the Portuguese-speaking community to promote the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and best practices, as well as to foster discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing Open Science, in a context marked by the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence.

Participation in the initiative is free, and registration is now open. Visit the ConfOA2026 website for more information.
