6th edition of Work in Portugal 2025

Applications are now open for the 6th edition of Work in Portugalan online recruitment and information event taking place on November 4 and 5, 2025. Organized annually by the IEFP as part of the activities of EURES: European Employment Network, in this edition in close collaboration with the EURAXESS researcher mobility network.

The initiative aims to help meet the recruitment needs of Portuguese companies, providing information and advice to candidates interested in Portugal as a destination to work and live, and encouraging Portuguese citizens in the diaspora to return to Portugal.

In 2025, particular emphasis will be placed on the areas of knowledge and innovation - keeping the event open to companies in all sectors of activity.

At this event, companies that are looking for employees with specific scientific, technical and/or linguistic skills and have difficulty finding profiles at a national level, can recruit across borders and welcome employees who do not speak (or have little knowledge of) Portuguese.

Free of charge, companies will also be able to promote their job, internship or research offers, and schedule and conduct online recruitment interviews during the week of the event. Companies interested in taking part in the event can register until October 17, 2025.
