6th edition of Work in Portugal 2025

Registration is now open for the 6th edition of Work in Portugal, an online recruitment and information event, which will take place on November 4 and 5, 2025. Organized annually by the IEFP as part of the activities of EURES: European Employment Network, this edition is being held in close collaboration with the EURAXESS network for researcher mobility.

The initiative aims to contribute to meeting the recruitment needs of Portuguese companies by providing information and advice to candidates interested in Portugal as a destination to work and live, and by encouraging Portuguese citizens in the diaspora to return to Portugal.

In 2025, particular emphasis will be placed on the areas of knowledge and innovation, while keeping the event open to companies from all sectors of activity.

At this event, companies looking for employees with specific scientific, technical, and/or linguistic skills who are having difficulty finding suitable candidates nationally can recruit across borders and welcome employees who do not speak Portuguese (or have little knowledge of the language).

Companies will also be able to promote their job, internship, or research offers free of charge, as well as schedule and conduct online recruitment interviews during the week of the event. Companies interested in participating in the event can register until October 17, 2025.
