Public consultation launched on the new European Research Area
The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the new European Research Area (ERA), which focuses on the progress made on the four priorities identified in the communication "A new ERA for Research and Innovation"(2020), namely: (I) prioritizing investments and reforms in R&I; (II) improving access to excellence across the EU; (III) transferring results to the economy; (IV) deepening the ERA.
This public consultation aims to contribute to a new Commission communication focused on implementing these priorities and identifying remaining areas of fragmentation in EU R&I policies.
The public consultation on the new European Research Area is open to public authorities (national, local, and regional), businesses, civil society organizations, and individual citizens.
