Registration is now open for the 2nd PUB IN Meeting: journals and scientific communication for open science

Registration is now open for the 2nd PUB IN Meeting: journals and scientific communication for open science, which will take place on March 26 and 27, 2025, at the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto. This initiative is organized by FCCN, FCT digital services, and the University of Minho. Registration for participants is open until March 21, 2025.

The meeting aims to bring together the national publishing community with a view to developing technical skills, capitalizing on knowledge and practices, and promoting the sharing of best practices by bringing editorial teams together. The program includes technicalworkshops,flash talksessions for demonstrations and presentations of experiences and best practices, and a panel discussion on emerging topics. The submission period for proposals is still open and ends on February 17, 2025.

The 2nd PUB IN Meeting is funded under the National Open Science and Open Research Data Program, as part of measureRE-C05-i08 – “More Digital Science”of the Recovery and Resilience Program.

PUB IN is funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology and developed by this organization and the University of Minho (UM). This initiative provides infrastructure (SARCandScielo) for the publication of open access scientific journals.
